An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Branch Manager to support the branch operation within the above location.

The Client
Our client has enjoyed over 55 years in business and is a market leader in specialist distribution for their product type. With a firm grasp and reputation for supplying distribution markets encompassing aftermarket, marine, leisure and industrial sectors, their recent growth has been both rapid and sustainable.

The Role
The main purpose of this position is to assist the Branch Manager in managing a branch in all aspects of its day to day running. The key areas of focus of the role are:

• To assist in developing and managing a highly motivated and appropriately skilled team focused on all aspects of running an efficient branch
• to manage the Company's product stock from receipt to delivery by following the Company's ISO procedures, and
• to assist with building and maintaining the Company's customer base.

The Candidate
Target Profile / Experience

• Experience and knowledge of the automotive aftermarket
• Commercially astute - Budget and stock management skills.
• Excellent PC skills

• Excellent communication and people handling skills at all levels.
• Team player with self initiative.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Self motivator, able to operate remotely and upon own initiative.
• Enthusiastic character with a strong work ethic.
